Milk Herd Share & Cheese CSA
What is a Herd Share?
A Herd Share is like a buying club for farm fresh milk in the state of Ohio. You pay a set fee to "buy in" to the herd, and in exchange you receive a portion of what the herd produces in milk or milk products.
How much does the Herd Share cost?
We require a $40 buy in, which is refunded should you decide to cancel your membership. A $20
a month fee to help maintain the herd is required as well, this will allow you approximately one half gallon jar of milk a week.
How can I get cheese?
Cheese is a part of our Herd Share program. Members are allowed to opt for a weekly portion of cheese in lieu of milk. A smaller portion of each is also allowed. You decide what works best for you and we will accommodate in line with the herd share laws here in Ohio.
